got an error message stating that using the trial-ware is strictly forbidden... i am still contemplating doing the trial for the heck of it. if we really like it, maybe we'll purchase the software so we can play on the free servers... IF they are still around by then. ;)

Hey all!

Long story short - wandered over here to see about whether GotZ was involved in Runescape (don't laugh, Ock is playing with my nephew) and found this thread. Installed the EMU. Played all weekend. I'm impressed and had a blast. I have two toons - I'm leaning toward making one a BE/combat toon and the other a crafter (probably tailor/chef, possibly armorer). Ock spent most of the time hanging over my shoulder and making comments. My favorite was when he was telling me to watch out for something, then realized his Runescape toon was in combat... He may show up eventually, once he burns out on Runescape.

Anyway, I'll probably be on on the weekends since I have no free time (work sucks), but I do intend to keep playing at least for a while. It brought back fond memories. Ock also works with some guys who are pretty intense gamers, so I might see about trying to suck them in on the EMU, although it may be a bit complex for them.

My characters are Ocklarina Aberoci (headed toward BE, I hope) and Oci Aberoci (crafter). Both are total noobs. Hopefully I'll see some of y'all in game.

BTW, which planets are best? I've been on Naboo, simply out of nostalgia, and saw crowds in Theed and Moenia, but not huge ones. Lots of folks AFK in the cantinas. I couldn't even find anyone to teach me languages.

Although Mikla can contest that I haven't been playing much at all the big hot spots for peeps are Mos Eisley and Coronet...both the Starports and Cantinas are usually very populated. To be quite honest there's not many places I've went and not seen players...more so than on the live game atm.

Glad to hear you're having fun though that's what it's all about :)

Yeah Coronet is the place to go. Lotsa of traffic through Mos Eisley as well but mostly low level toons - less stuff available on the bazaar there.
